James Allen Nolet is an attorney specializing in complex civil litigation and commercial transactions with nearly a decade of experience in the legal field. Attorney Nolet studied at the Suffolk University School of Law in Boston where he served on the Mock Trial Team, edited the Transnational Law Journal and participated in a law student exchange program in Havana, Cuba, all while working full time for a prestigious downtown Boston law firm. Attorney Nolet is highly proficient in legal research and drafting in addition to extensive litigation experience at both the trial and appellate level. Attorney Nolet has extensive experience representing high net worth and high profile clients in the fields of arts and entertainment.

After being awarded a Doctorate from University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Nolet has taught in the humanities and social sciences at universities all over the world. Respected researcher in the field of Economic Anthropology, she has conducted ethnographic fieldwork in over 40 countries – including extended fieldwork in India, Nigeria, and Brazil – focusing on small business economics and informal business practices such as networking, gift exchange and government corruption. She has also had several legal internships as an Interviewer and Researcher including at the Public Defenders and the Human Rights Commission (which prosecutes for the state in cases of housing and workplace discrimination). Before coming to Nolet Law, she had previously worked as a Paralegal since 2018.
